ShockSim3D Perforating Simulation Software and Shock Sensing Sub

ShockSim3D is a simulation software package developed to predict the complex, dynamic effects of perforating gun string detonation in order to minimize failure risk and optimize performance. The software predicts the dynamic pressure response through out the gunstring, the entire wellbore, and annulus as well as the dynamic response of the gunstring. Starboard offers independent ShockSim3D simulation services to its customers under license from Halliburton. ShockSim3D was developed and calibrated using extensive surface testing and downhole gauge data including data from the Halliburton HPET tool, designed by Starboard for this purpose.
