Flexible Piezo Transducer

Starboard has experience in the development of advanced piezoelectric transducer forms including Midé Technology's PowerAct™ flexible piezo actuator product. The actuator is based on ceramic wafer elements laser machined to improve performance. The result is a low-cost approach for actuation or sensing on curved surfaces. The actuators can also be integrated into composite laminates and can be designed in any geometry.
